STEP 1: 4FTX 6FT RACK-FOR CEILING BRACKET INSTALLATION (WOOD JOIST) 

WE PROVIDED WOOD SCREWS AND SOLID CONCRETE CEILING ANCHORS FOR THIS INSTALLATION.

PLEASE DETERMINE THE TYPE OF CEILING YOU HAVE BEFORE STARTING.

WOOD JOIST:

A: USE A STUD FINDER TO LOCATE THE CEILING WOOD JOISTS. 

     

NOTE:

 

USE THE DRILL TEMPLATE TO MARK THE MOUNTING HOLES FOR INSTALLATION.

A1: START FROM THE LEFT, PLACE THE DRILL TEMPLATE AND MARK THE (2) HOLES AT CENTER OF THE JOIST LOCATIONS.

A2: FROM THE (1) END MEASURE 72", PLACE THE DRILL TEMPLATE AND MARK THE NEXT SET OF (2) HOLES.

B:  PILOT HOLES FOR WOOD JOIST: USE A 11/64" (4.5mm) DIA. DRILL BIT AND DRILL A 2 3/8" (60mm) DEEP HOLE FOR

     EACH SCREW.

C: FASTEN THE CEILING BRACKETS WITH THE WOOD SCREW. USE A DRILL & SUPPLIED NUT DRIVER.
