Switching by mouse
How to switch the active channel by mouse:
Press and hold mouse key

(usually:
Back
).
Move the mouse to the left or to the right to switch the channel in ascending or
descending order.
Switching via serial device
The channels can be switched via a serial device connected to the
RS232
port of the
KVM switch. The serial device can either be a special keypad or a computer which
is terminal emulator operated.
Connection settings
Use the following connection settings for the serial end device to establish a serial
connection to the KVM switch.
Bits per second:
115.200 (to switch the bitrate, see pages 37)
Data bits:
8
Parity: none
Stop bits:
1
Flow control:
none
IMPORTANT:
Switching by mouse is disabled in the default settings of the KVM
switch default. Information about how to activate the function is given on page 32.
NOTE:
If the
Single
mode is active, you can switch only to the next or the prior
channel.
Switching across several channels requires the
Multiple
mode.
NOTE:
To connect the serial device, use the optional device connection cable
CC-Link-2
(item no. A6200093)
IMPORTANT:
Use the following connection settings and the switching commands of
the KVM switch to successfully switch the channel with a serial end device.
