Getting Started

 

To connect to the RS-7, click on the 

Settings

 menu

 and then select the a COM port by clicking on the down-

arrow and selecting the appropriate COM port going to the RS-7. 

 

   

 

 

 

Don’t know which COM port to select? Click on the Windows 

Start

 button, then right-click 

Computer

, then click 

Manage

. When the Computer Management window opens, click 

Device Manager

 in the left pane. Then, in the 

right pane, expand 

Ports (COM & LPT)

. The RS-7 will appear as “USB Serial Port”. In this example, the COM port
