GeneralOperation

’smanualcarefullyinitsentiretybefore
attemptingtoassemblethismachine.Read,understand,
andfollowallinstructionsonthemachineandinthe
manual(s)beforeoperation.Keepthismanualinasafe
placeforfutureandregular referenceandforordering
replacementparts.

Becompletelyfamiliarwith thecontrolsandtheproperuse
ofthismachinebeforeoperatingit.
3.
Thismachineisaprecisionpieceofpowerequipment,
notaplaything.Therefore,exerciseextremecautionatall
times.Thismachinehasbeendesignedtoperformonejob:
tomowgrass.Donotuseit foranyotherpurpose.

Neverallowchildren under14yearsofagetooperatethis
machine.Children14andovershouldreadandunderstand
theinstructionsandsafeoperationpracticesinthismanual
andonthemachineandshouldbetrainedandsupervised

Planyourmowingpatterntoavoid dischargeofmaterial
towardroads,sidewalks,bystandersandthelike.Also,
avoiddischargingmaterialagainstawallorobstruction,
whichmaycausedischargedmaterialtoricochetback
towardtheoperator.

Tohelpavoidbladecontactorathrownobjectinjury,
stayinoperatorzonebehindhandlesand keepchildren,
bystanders,helpersandpetsatleast75feetfrommower
whileit isinoperation.Stopmachineifanyoneentersarea.
9.
Alwayswearsafetyglassesorsafetygogglesduring
operationandwhileperforminganadjustmentorrepair
toprotectyoureyes.Thrownobjectswhichricochetcan
causeseriousinjurytotheeyes.
10.
Wearsturdy,rough-soledworkshoesandclose-fitting
slacksandshirts.Shirtsandpantsthatcoverthearms
andlegsandsteel-toedshoesarerecommended.Never
operatethismachineinbarefeet,sandals,slipperyorlight-
weight(e.g.canvas)shoes.
11.
Donotputhandsorfeetnearrotatingpartsorunderthe
cuttingdeck.Contactwith bladecanamputatefingers,
hands,toesandfeet.
