SELECTING THE CONTROL MODE
When the unit is started up the control logic will display the mode on the initial
screen:
On which the following information is also displayed besides the utility temperature (summer or winter mode) and the
domestic hot water temperature:
Indicates that the utility pump is active. When the utility tank is present and the utility probe is enabled, it also
indicates that the winter or summer mode request is active.
If the utility tank is not present, the utility pump is always active unless the utility activation request is provided
from a digital input.
Indicates that the DHW pump is active. When the DHW tank is present and the DHW probe is enabled, it also
indicates that the DHW production request is active.
If the DHW tank is not present, the utility pump is always active unless the DHW activation request is provided
from a digital input.
Indicates that the fans are running.
Indicates that the compressor request is active to satisfy the (utility) air conditioning or DHW request.
Indicates that the 4-way water valve of the utility is in the positioning phase. Positioning always occurs when the
unit is powered and each time the utility operating mode changes (winter or summer).

User menu

as follows:
- press the PRG key to enter the main menu;
- use the UP and DOWN keys to scroll the menu to select USER;
- press ENTER and enter the password (default: 100) using the UP and DOWN keys;
- press ENTER to confi rm the password and access the user menu;
- use the UP and DOWN keys to select “Lan and Supervision”;
- press the ENTER key to access the following screen (J1):
Enable one or more unit start-up options on this screen. The options are:
- from the display keys (local or remote, separately);
- via external contacts (voltage free);
- via an external supervision system;
- via time bands.
Since they are operating functions, if more than one is selected, they must all consent
the unit to be operational. The status of the unit is displayed on the initial screen and if
the unit is OFF, the condition that forces this mode is also specifi ed. The display may be:
- ON: the unit is ON (all the unit On/Off logics give consent to operation).
- Alarms OFF: the unit is OFF due to an alarm being triggered. Regardless of the status
of the enabled consents, certain alarms force the unit to shutdown.
- Superv. OFF: the unit is switched off via Supervision.
- Bands OFF: the unit is switched off according to the scheduled time bands.
- Remote OFF: the unit is switched off via a remote digital contact.
- Keypad OFF: the unit is switched off via the keypad. If this option is disabled, the
unit status cannot be modifi ed via the keypad. N.B.: If the unit is switched off via the
keypad and this mode is then disabled, the unit cannot be switched on.
