Installing the Locking Cover 3000
The printed document locking Cover secures documents that are already printed and are waiting in the internal
stacker. Use of the printed document Locking Cover is optional. The stacker, with or without cover, holds
approximately 80 coupons.
You
must
remove the Locking Cover
before
attempting to open the right side door to clear a jam.
To Install locking Cover
1. Hold Locking Cover so lock is facing up and to the rear of printer. Open side will be facing down
toward printer.
2. Turn key clockwise (right) until it stops.
3. Line up the Locking Cover so the sides of cover slide along the guides on the front of internal stacker
until it is seated into printer housing. (See figure 1 on page 3 for location of internal stacker.)
4. Turn the key counterclockwise (left) to lock the cover into place.
To Remove Locking Cover
1. Turn the key counterclockwise (left) to unlock the cover.
2. Slide cover up and off of the printer housing.
3. Remove any printed documents
