4. With the printer power on, pull the first document to the correct opening shown above, and insert with the
staple stub first, and the ticket or green side facing the top of the stand. Continue to insert the document into
the printer until the printer feed motor pulls the stock.

Loading Blank Document Cards in Bin 2
Blank documents
must
be loaded in Bin 2. Bin 2 is
the lower bin of the secure document bin. To locate
Bin 2 on the printer, see figure 6.
The bin has a
maximum of 500 cards.
Note:
In this procedure, you remove documents
from their boxes. To ensure documents load
correctly, do
not
turn them before inserting them
into the printer.
1. Ensure printer is powered on (straight line on power switch is pressed down).
2. Unlock the secure ticket bin by turning the key clockwise. Then open the door by swinging it away from
the printer.
3. Remove approximately half the stock (500 cards) from the box. Be careful not to turn the cards as they are
removed from the box.
Caution:
Stock will not feed properly if more than 500 cards are loaded in the bin.
4. Ensure that green side of stock is facing up, and staple stub is to the left (front of printer).
5. Locate spring-loaded bottom plate in Bin 2.

6. Hold cards in one hand, push down and hold spring-loaded bottom plate of Bin with the other hand. Place
cards on top of lowered bottom plate.
7. Release the bottom plate. The coupons will automatically adjust to the correct level.
8. Hold coupon at an angle level with the prefeed slot.
9. Slide coupon into the prefeed slot until the staple stub can no longer be seen. Release the coupon as soon as
you hear the motor start. The printer will automatically load the stock.
Note:
if the motor runs, and the coupon does not move, pull coupon out of slot. Allow motor to stop.
Reinsert coupon into prefeed slot until staple stub is no longer visible.
10. Tug
gently
on the coupon to ensure it loaded properly. If not, repeat steps 8 and 9 until coupons
load correctly.
11. Shut side door of printer and make sure latch is secure.
12. If you use the Lockable Cover, reinstall it and lock it in place. (See the “Installing lockable Cover” section
on page 11 for instructions.)
