8 - COFFEE PREPARATION
- Select the correct filter and place it into the filter holder,use the small
filters for one cup and the big filter for two cups (Fig.6.03).
Then place the filter holder into the machine and wait until it is
heated.
- When the machine has reached the required pressure, remove the
filter holder and fill it with the relevant measure (1 measure per cup
of coffee).
- Press using the relevant pressing device.
- Remove any extra coffee from the filter holder rim.
- Place the filter holder into the machine.
- Put one or two cups under the filter holder (Fig.8.01), press the
coffee button (Fig. 6.01-pos.

for GE or keyboard for GD) and
coffee will start coming out.
When the cups are full press the button to stop delivery (GE)
(Fig.8.02) or wait for the automatic switching off (GD).
- Remove the cups and serve.
- The coffee will be more or less strong according to the type of coffee
mix, grinding and water dose.
To obtain the typical espresso cream , the coffee dispensing shall
be approx.20
÷
30 seconds for a 25-30 cc cup.
- To prepare other coffees remove the filter holder and throw away
the grounds and repeat the operations starting from point 2.
N.B.
In case of GD machines unused for a long period, it is advisable
to deliver water from the group for a few seconds to fill the circuit ,
then start the usual coffee delivery procedure.
