On the rear of the control knob, tighten the retaining
nut using the installation tool provided.
7.
Align the control knob precisely in the zero setting.
Connecting the control knob to the connection
cables
1.
Connect the control knob to the enclosed connec-
tion cable.
The two connectors on the control knob are
identical.
2. Ensure that the plug engages in the socket.
3.
After installation, check that all of the plug connec-
tions are seated correctly.
4.
To secure all connection cables after installation,
bend the lugs on the retaining plate.
Preparing the appliance

Use 4 nuts to screw the exhaust-air elbow tightly to
the appliance.
Installing the appliance
Requirement:
Observe the installation sequence. First
install the downdraft ventilation in the cut-out in the
worktop. Then install the other appliances.
1.
Insert the connection strip into the cut-out in the
worktop.
2.
Insert the downdraft ventilation into the cut-out in the
worktop.
3.
Push the connection strip firmly onto the appliance.

Ensure that the appliance's clamp springs aud-
ibly snap into the recesses in the connection
strip.
4.
Install the other appliances and connection strips.
