Troubleshooting
You can often easily eliminate problems that may
occur on your own. Before calling customer service,
take into account the following information.
Customer Service
If your appliance needs repairs, our customer ser vice
is there for you. We always find the right solution and
prevent unnecessary visits by technicians.
When you call, please indicate the product number
(E-Nr.) and serial number (FD-Nr.) so that we can
suppor t you in a qualified manner. You will find the
type plate with these numbers on the bottom of the
appliance. To avoid having to search for a long time
when you need it, you can enter your appliance data
and the customer suppor t telephone number here.
Please note that a visit by a customer suppor t
technician in case of an operating error is not free,
even during the warranty period.

enclosed customer ser vice list.
To book an engineer visit and product advice
You can rely on the manufacturer’s exper tise. Rest
assured that the repair will be handled by trained
service technicians who have the original replacement
parts for your appliance.
Malfunction
Possible cause
Solution
General electrical
malfunction.
The household fuse has opened.
Check in the fuse box whether the fuse has
opened.
The electrical ignition
doesn't work.
Food or cleaner residue may be between the
flame igniters and the burners.
The space between flame igniter and burner
must be clean.
The burners are wet.
Carefully dry the burner lids.
The burner lids aren't correctly positioned.
Check whether the lids are correctly positioned.
Power failure
Light burner by hand.
Uneven burner flame
The burner parts aren't correctly positioned.
Correctly position burner parts.
The openings of the burner are dirty.
Clean openings of the burner.
Gas flow seems
abnormal or no gas
comes out.
Intermediate valves are closed.
Open the intermediate valves.
If using a gas cylinder, make sure it's not empty.
Replace gas cylinder.
It smells like gas in the
kitchen.
Potential leak on connection of gas cylinder.
Check gas cylinder connection for leaks.
The burner immediately
goes out after ignition.
You haven't held the control knob long enough.
After the burner has ignited, continue pressing
the control knob for a few seconds. Press in
firmly.
The openings of the burner are dirty.
Clean openings of the burner.
