Appliance self-test
Your appliance features an automatic self-test
program which indicates sources of faults that may be
repaired by customer service only.
Starting the appliance self-test
1.
Switch off the appliance with the On/Off
button

and wait 5 minutes.

Switch on the appliance with the On/Off
button
ÿ

3.
Within the first 10 seconds after switching on the
appliance, hold down the freezer section fast
button
h
for 3 to 5 seconds until an acoustic
signal sounds.
The self-test program starts. While the self-test is
running, a long audible signal sounds in the
meantime.
If 2 acoustic signals sound and the set temperature is
displayed after the self-test has ended, your appliance
is OK.
If 5 acoustic signals sound and the freezer section
fast button
h
flashes for 10 seconds after the self-
test has ended, there is a fault. Inform customer
service.
Ending the appliance self-test
When the program has ended, the appliance switches
over to normal operation.
