Using the wrong descaler may damage the appliance.

Only use the specified descaling tablets.

The descaling tablet may damage the cooking com-
partment.

Use the descaling tablet for the descaling pro-
gramme only.

Place the descaling tablet into the water tank.

Never place the descaling tablet in the cooking
compartment or heat it up in the cooking compart-
ment.

The descaling tablets can be obtained from customer
service, our website or the online shop.
Depending on the water hardness and the use of the
appliance, a message on the display reminds you to
run the descaling programme.
To prevent damage to the appliance, the appliance
locks the operating modes that use steam after this
message has been repeated. You can still use the ap-
pliance to run operating modes that do not require
steam. You can only use the appliance without any re-
strictions after you have run the descaling programme.
The descaling programme takes 1 hour 50 minutes
from beginning to end. After 1 hour 30 minutes, empty,
clean and refill the water tank.

Preparing the descaling programme

WARNING ‒ Risk of scalding!

The descaling tablets may cause chemical burns in the
mouth, throat, eyes and on the skin.

Follow the safety instructions on the packaging of
the descaling tablets.

Avoid the skin coming into contact with the descal-
ing tablets.

Keep children away from the descaling tablets.

The descaling solution may cause chemical burns in
the mouth, throat and eyes or on the skin.

Avoid the skin coming into contact with the descal-
ing solution.

Keep children away from the descaling solution.

Do not drink the descaling solution.

The descaling solution must not come into contact
with food.

Clean the water tank in the dishwasher or thor-
oughly by hand before you next use the appliance.

Use the rotary selector to select the descaling pro-
gramme.
You cannot cancel the descaling programme. Al-
ways allow the descaling programme to run to the
end.

Remove all accessories from the cooking compart-
ment.

Remove the fresh-water tank from the appliance and
take off the lid.

6.

Remove the descaling tablet from the plastic pack-
aging.

Place the descaling tablet in the compartment at the
back of the fresh-water tank.

Position the lid on the fresh-water tank and click it
into place.

Fill the fresh-water tank up to the "Max" mark with
1.7 l cold water.

Starting the descaling programme

Close the appliance door.

Press  ​⁠ to confirm.

Continuing the descaling programme
