GB107 20V BATTERY INSTALLATION TOOL
TROUBLESHOOTING
Providing all maintenance conditions have been met, follow this systematic approach to diagnosis.
1. INSTALLTION TOOL STOPS AND A RED LED COMES ON.
a) Fasteners are used beyond the specified performance capability of the tool. Wait until the
red
LED goes out and press the
actuator assy (VP1572) briefly again. The tool then moves to its starting positions.

THE INSTALLATION TOOL COMPLETES THE CYCLE THEN STOPS AND YELLOW LED COMES ON.
a) The battery (VP1086) is dead. The tool is guarded by a protection circuit. Replace the battery with a fully charged one. The

LED turns off and you can continue working.

a) Check mandrel collection bottle (VP1002) and empty if needed. Ensure mandrel collection bottle (VP1002) or cover cap (VP1321)
is securely mounted and fully engaged in the rear of the installation tool, activating the safety switch (See page 9). The
