ORDERING PARTS
Order parts by part number from GAG Corporation, Consumer
Photo Division, P.O. Box 490 Portland, Oregon 97207. All
parts shipped F.O.B. Portland, Oregon.
SERVICE
When replacing parts note the following: Spring (12) under
tone arm (17) must be firmly seated and touching metal
washer on tone arm. The other end of spring must be over
boss on front assembly (13) and touching flat surface. Install
(early models) grip ring (late models) E-ring (11) 1/16 inch
from end of shaft. NOTE: Motor assembly can be removed
without removing tone arm.
Remove motor assembly (5) by loosening screw (10) and
swinging stop (9) away from right hand motor prong. Squeeze
prong and swing motor assembly out from intermediate plate.
Note: Some early viewers have a plastic lock which must be
replaced with stop (9).
Unsolder motor lead wires. Before removing motor assembly,
note the way parts are assembled under it and tone arm.
When replacing wires, solder red wire lead to battery contact
(negative on motor to negative on battery).
LUBRICATION
Apply light coating of Dow Corning No. 33 Grease (light-
silicone) to high ridge of speaker cone.
CAUTION
: Keep grease off belt and motor shaft.
SPECIFICATIONS
Use new batteries and special strobe record, Part No. 445-
004. Minimum record speed 84 rpm.
