Engine tachometer
The engine tachometer is used to indicate the
current engine speed, in x1,000 r/min, minimum
scale 500 r/min, ranging from 0 r/min to 8,000 r/min.
Hint
•
The red warning area (7,000 r/min ~ 8,000
r/min) on the speed dial means the heavy-duty
area of the car. Do not let the car operate in
this area. Doing so can cause fuel cut-off due
to engine self-protection.
•
Damage to the engine probably occurs if the
tachometer reading is in the red zone while the
running-in period of the car does not expire.
•
Even if the running-in period has expired,
damage to the engine probably occurs if the
tachometer reading is in the red zone.
