Making Calls
Dialing Contacts
Your MIP-200 WiFi Phone incorporates a Phonebook with a capacity of 50
entries for ease of use. Add, edit, and remove contacts using the Phonebook
menu or dial directly from the Phonebook using the Dial Contacts feature.
To dial a contact using the Phonebook, perform the following steps:
1. From the main screen, press the Right soft key (
) to display the
Phonebook,
OR
Press the Left soft key (
) to display the main menu.
Using the Navigation Pad (
) to scroll and the Left soft key (
) to select
items, go to Phone Settings
´
Phonebook.
2. Using the Navigation Pad (
) to scroll and the Left soft key (
) to select
items, find the required contact,
OR
Search for the contact by entering the first letter of the name and pressing
the Left soft key (
).
3. Using the Navigation Pad (
) to scroll and the Left soft key (
) to select
items, choose the type of connection for the required contact from SIP, No,
and IP.
4. Press the Call key ( ) to dial the selected contact.
Dialing Manually
You can dial numbers manually from the MIP-200 keypad if the number is not
registered in the Phonebook. Your MIP-200 supports calling to SIP names,
regular phone numbers, and IP addresses.
Dialing SIP Names
To dial a SIP name manually, perform the following steps:
1. From the main screen, press the Call key ( ).
2. Using the Navigation Pad (
) to scroll to SIP.
3. Press the Left soft key (
) and enter the desired SIP ID using the keypad.
4. Press the Call key ( ) to dial the selected SIP ID.
