Once motor directions are correctly set, you
can install the props. Remember to fit the cor
-
rect spacer in the underside of the prop hub.
Ensure you fit the correct prop to the right mo
-
tor according to it‘s rotation direction. Props
must be tight, but be careful, it is very easy to
overtighten them which could cause damage
to the prop or the holder.
Lastly install the top fuselage plate to protect the
flight controller and RC Receiver. The top plate is
also a good place to install the Compass and GPS
module if you are using it, in order to give the GPS
aerial the best possible view of the sky, with mi-
nimal signal interference. Use 4 x 30mm frame
support pillars positioned one on each side of the
frame. You can still access the gain adjustment
pots through the hole in the centre of the top plate.
Thread the battery strap through appropriate holes
or slots in the lower fuselage plate to strap your
flight battery to the X4.
