The best solution for powering the system is to use an external BEC* (not supplied), but if
you don‘t have one you can use the BECs built in to one of the ESCs.
To ensure only a single BEC power source is
supplied to the flight controller, you will need
to disconnect all the red power leads from
the ESCs,
except
ESC number 1. These can
be discon-nected by removing the red wire
pin from the servo plug. Carefully lift the tiny
platsic clip that holds the pin in place and
slide it out.
By removing the pin this way you should be
able to reinsert the pin again should you ever
need to reprogramme the ESC. Make sure all
loose red wires are carefully insulated!
* If you are using an external BEC, remember to disconnect the red wire from ALL the
ESCs.
