: No receive message in memory, or printer is operating.
REC. MESSAGE EXISTS
(reverse video): Displayed when a routine message has not
been printed, or a confidential message is received.
Data Report
: When data reporting is activated.
Message Report
(reverse video): Message report setting is activated.
(8) Date and time display
Date and time, received from the GPS navigator, are displayed. Manually input date
and time are also displayed.
(9) Position
Ship’s position, received from the GPS navigator, is displayed in latitude and longi-
tude, or manually input position is displayed.

Menu Overview
Operation of the FELCOM is done through a menu system which you access with the
function keys on the terminal unit. The example below shows how to select menu op-
tions from the [Editor Setup] menu.
