ronment. However, no machine can perform its intended function unless properly operated and
maintained. Please carefully read and follow the operation and maintenance procedures set forth
in this manual.

The BBDS1 features the following:
• Onboard bottom discrimination capability to assist with fishing.
• Displays fish icons which allow the user to easily discern the actual size of fish (ACCU-FISH
TM
).
Operational cautions:
Please keep the following in mind when using the Bottom Discrimination Sounder:
• The BBDS1 is for use with NavNet 3D (MFD8/12/BB), NavNet TZtouch (TZT9/14/BB) and
NavNet TZtouch2 (TZTL12F/15F, TZT2BB).
• Use at a depth of 5 m - 100 m.
• Use a ship speed of 10 kt or less.
• Enter the ship’s draft value via the NavNet 3D/TZtouch/TZtouch2.
