Cleaning and Inspection of
radiator fin
Wear safety goggles when cleaning it by blowing a compressed air and
set the air pressure to a level less than 0.49MPa (71.1psi(5kgf/cm
2 )).
If the fin is clogged with something such as
dust and leaves, it prevent the air from flow-
ing through to decrease cooling efficiency
remarkably which in turn causes the engine
to be overheated.
Blow water or compressed air against the fin
for cleaning if it is found to be clogged.
When washing it with water, take care not to
wet the alternator with water.
