Mobilescape VX Initial Setup
The Mobilescape VX package will include:

Mobilescape VX Mobile Terminal
2)
Battery Pack
3)
Wall Charger
4)
Activated AT&T SIM card
5)
Roll of thermal paper
6)
Setup Guide
Before using your terminal, you will need to ensure that the battery is charged and receipt paper is
loaded into the printer bay.
Please see the included document with instructions for inserting the battery and the proper alignment
of the included thermal paper roll.
The AT&T SIM card will be pre-‐inserted in the proper communication port.
A Quick Tour of the Mobilescape VX Terminal
The Mobilescape VX terminal has a 3.5 inch touch-‐sensitive display and a backlit 12-‐key physical keypad.
In addition to the 12 numeric and symbolic keys, the device has 3 action
keys:
1)
Green Key = Enter (also functions as the ON button)
2)
Yellow Key = Backspace
3)
Red Key = Cancel (also functions as the OFF button)
Many of the functions of the device may utilize the onscreen touch sensitive
icons or the physical keypad with the same result.
Alpha and numeric values may be entered via the onscreen keyboard or the
keypad.
The card reader is located on the right side of the terminal. For best results,
quickly swipe the card downward from the top of the device.
The touch screen can be used with or without the included stylus which is
securely stored in the upper left-‐hand corner of the device.
