Camera
This camera uses multiple apertures simultaneously to
create a 3D map of your workspace to get the most accurate
data for your laser projects. Saving time and money on
materials with the 3D camera system is a major benefit.
Also the 3D camera allows you to do cool things like our
trace feature in RE3. To learn more take a look at our
software section. The camera is mounted on the rail of the
3D to ensure every inch our your workspace is captured.

3D Camera Calibration
1.
Lay out about 1 to 2 sheets of letter sized paper centered under the red dot. Ensure these sheets are flat
and smooth to produce the best calibration.

Make sure your Galvo is focused if you have not already done so.
3.
Enter the setup page for your machine via IP/setup
4.
Then go to the “Laser Tools Tab”

Select “Run Lens Calibration”.
WARNING! Wear Safety Goggles! LASER WILL FIRE! Do not handle or turn off the laser during
this process. The laser will produce a grid of dots.

Once calibrating, it will give a result of “Passed”.

To check your results go to the section directly below titled “
Verify Camera Calibration
” to ensure the lens can
be use.
