Recommended distance of separation from portable telephone, etc.
The following shows the recommended distance of separation of the
equipment from portable or mobile RF communication devices.
Recommended distance of separation of equipment from portable or mobile RF communication devices
The equipment is intended to be used in the electromagnetic environment where the RF
interference is regulated. Client or user of the equipment can suppress the electromagnetic
interference by controlling the minimum distance between portable or mobile RF
communication device (transmitter) and this equipment as recommended below based on the
maximum output of the sending device.

In case of a maximum rated power output not listed above, recommended distance of
separation d in terms of meters (m) can be determined by an equation corresponding to the
transmitter frequency. In the equation, P is the maximum rated power output in Watts (W) of
transmitter.
Note 1. In case of 80 MHz to 800 MHz, apply a high frequency band for the separate distance.
Note 2. The guideline does not apply to all circumstances. The electromagnetic diffusion is
affected by reflection and absorption by structure, thing and person.
Electrosurgery interference
The equipment is protected against the operation failure resulting from the
use in conjunction with electrosurgery listed below.

The noise level
displayed/recorded in the
equipment increases while
the electrosurger used is
generating radiofrequency
energy, but the original
level is restored within 10
seconds from the
termination of generation of
radiofrequency energy.
If waveforms obtained
during the period in which
radiofrequency energy is
generated are analyzed,
valid analysis result may
not be obtained.
