Installing and removing SmartCard reader

Installing and removing the SmartCard reader

Undo the screw (1).

Pull the SmartCard reader out of the
carrier (2).

Push the SmartCard reader into the
guide (a) with the component side facing
upwards (1).

Secure the SmartCard reader with the
screw (2).

Attach the cable to the SmartCard
reader (3) and to the connector for the
SmartCard reader on the system board
(see the Technical Manual for the
system board).

Installing the carrier

Place the carrier on the guide clips in the casing.

Slide the carrier in the direction of the arrow as far as it will go (1).

Fasten the carrier into place with the screw (2).

Close the workstation (see "Closing the Workstation").
