Replacing second hard disk in 5 ¼ inch drive carrier

Remove the drive carrier as described in "Replacing drive in 5 ¼ inch bay" chapter. 

Removing the hard disk

Remove the screws (1).

Pull the hard disk out of the drive carrier in the direction of the arrow (2). 

Installing the hard disk

Remove the new hard disk from the package.

Slide the hard disk into the drive carrier in the direction of the arrow (1). 

►

 

Secure the hard disk with the screws (2). 

►
