LEDs
Features
The LEDs have the following meaning:
LED Indicator
Meaning
L1 - Status
(Global Error)
orange
indicates a prefailure
orange flashing indicates a failure. Reasons for a failure
may be:
- overheating of one of the sensors
- sensor defect
- fan defect
- CPU error
- Software detected an error
L2 - ID
blue
server is identified via ServerView
L3 - board
orange
aux. voltage available
L4 - board
green
system running
L5 - board
red
configuration error. The system board will
be held in reset.
Possible configuration errors are e.g.: old
CPU populated, CPUs with different FSB
requirements populated, CPU1 not
populated
L6 - board
green flashing
iRMC - server management controller is ok
off
iRMC not alive
L7 - board
orange
RAID cache dirty
L8 - L15
memory banks
orange flashing indicates an error in the corrensponding
memory module
