If your computer is in Suspend mode, press the SUS/RES button to resume operation.

Click the
icon (Safely Remove Hardware) in the lower right corner of the screen
(notification area where a clock is displayed).

Select the device you want to unplug or eject and then click Stop.
XXX refers to the name of the mobile multi-bay unit currently in use.

Remove the unit.
(1) Raise the mobile multi-bay unit release lever, and
(2) Safely pull out the DVD/CD-RW drive
