10.1 Short circuit protective devices (SCPD)   

 

[Note 1] 
Suitable for use on a circuit capable of delivering not more 
than ___kA rms symmetrical amperes, ___V max. See the 
table for values. 
 
[Note 2] WARNING: 
The opening of the branch-circuit protective device may 
be an indication that a fault has been interrupted. To 
reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, current-carrying 
parts and other components of the controller should be 
examined and replaced if damaged. If burnout of the 
current element of an overload relay occurs, the complete 
overload relay must be replaced. 
 
[Note 3] 
The breaker or the fuse that has the rating described in 
the table might not be able to be used at near the 
maximum level of the permissible current for the
