Inserting String Fuses

Selecting string
fuses Only use fuses for solar modules that meet the proper requirements for string fuses from
the solar module manufacturer or as per the "Criteria for the Proper Selection of String Fus-
es" section:

max. 20 A per fuse holder
- max. 12 solar module strings
- max. 50 A per measuring channel
- max. 100 A of total input current
- Fuse dimensions: Diameter 10 x 38 mm
IMPORTANT!
- Follow all solar module safety instructions
- Follow all solar module manufacturer requirements

WARNING! An electric shock can be fatal. Danger from DC voltage from solar
modules.

Make sure that the input and output sides in front of the device are not
charged before connecting anything.
- Never remove or insert a fuse while it is under load.
- Any and all connections should only be carried out by qualified electricians.
- Follow the safety rules in these operating instructions.
NOTE! Insert string fuses in the fuse holders in accordance with the number of
available solar modules.
