Installing the Fronius String Control 100/12
Selecting dowels
and screws Depending on the surface, different dowels and screws may be required for installing the
Fronius String Control 100/12. Therefore, these dowels and screws are not part of the
scope of supply for the Fronius String Control 100/12. The system installer is responsible
for selecting the proper dowels and screws.
Installation posi-
tion The Fronius String Control 100/12 must be installed vertically with the cable entries and
exits facing downwards.
Selecting a Loca-
tion When selecting the location, please observe the following criteria:

Install only on a solid and level surface; the housing must not warp when it is fastened
with the screws.
- The ambient temperature may not fall below -25°C nor 60°C.
- The Fronius String Control 100/12 may be installed outside in sheltered areas. Avoid
direct contact with moisture.
- Protect from direct sunlight and direct exposure to the elements.
- Install under the solar modules where possible.

trol 100/12 IMPORTANT! The cover screws are under spring pre-load:
- Press cover screws in with screwdriver first
- Then screw in the cover screws
