Attaching the main frame

3.3.1

Attaching the main frame to the vehicle attachment

Caution

: Risk of accidents from falling equipment. The ISARIA

®

 has a high centre of gravity. Two 

persons are required for assembly.

Alignment of ISARIA

®

 on the vehicle: Company logo (190) on front in direction of travel.

• Park the vehicle on even ground and secure against rolling.

• Place the main frame (1) on the console already fitted to the vehicle (3, 4 or 215) (centring 

pins (218)) and secure.

• Secure the fixing straps  (176) on the main frame evenly using the screws (105) (tightening 

torque: 6.1, page 27).

Material used for attachment:

4x screws similar to DIN6921 with locked toothed structure M12x30-8.8

Note

The figure depicts the fully assembled ISARIA

®

 (main frame with fitted side arms). On initial 

commissioning, the side arms are still to be attached.
