Configuring LAN Guest Access
Overview
With a LAN guest access you can provide houseguests with an internet
connection of their own via network cable (LAN cable). A guest access
is designed for temporary use by your guests. A guest access can also
be made available wirelessly via Wi-Fi.
The “Guest” Access Profile
Only the “Guest” access profile can be used at the LAN guest access.
You can edit the “Guest” access profile in the “Internet / Filters / Ac-
cess Profiles” menu.
The preconfigured “Guest” profile defines the following for the guest
access:
Allowed/Not Allowed
Activities
Allowed

Surfing the web (according to the filters
specified in the “Permitted websites” list
or the “Blocked websites” list)

Sending and receiving email
Not Allowed

Accessing contents of the home network
•
Changing the Settings of the FRITZ!Box
