Television in the Home Network

The FRITZ!WLAN Repeater distributes the TV signal of your cable con-
nection throughout the home network. With FRITZ!App TV or other 
software you can receive free-to-air digital television channels on a 
PC, notebook, tablet or smartphone.

8.1

What the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater Makes Available

The FRITZ!WLAN Repeater makes two TV programs available 
concurrently, along with a program guide (EPG) and other 
functions.

Two Programs Concurrently

With the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater you can receive two TV pro-
grams at the same time.

Multiple devices can receive two TV programs at the same 
time and select between them.

Program Guide and Other Functions

The FRITZ!WLAN Repeater provides an electronic program 
guide (EPG), teletext, alternative audio channels and subti-
tles.

In order to use these features you will need a TV software that 
supports the desired functions.

8.2

Installing TV Software

Suitable TV software must be installed on devices with which 
you would like to receive TV programs.

Installing TV Software for Tablets and Smartphones

Install FRITZ!App TV or a comparable TV app on tablets 
and smartphones.

FRITZ!App TV for Android is available for free from Goo-
gle Play; FRITZ!App TV for iOS from the App Store.
