Click “OK” to save the settings.

Enable the options “Obtain an IP address automatically”
and “Obtain DNS server address automatically” for the
Internet protocol version 6 (TCP/IPv6) as well.
The computer receives an IP address from the wireless access
point.
Obtaining an IP Address Automatically in Mac OS X
1.
Select the “System Preferences” in the Apple menu.
2.
In the “System Preferences” window, click the “Net-
work” icon.
3.
In the “Network” window, select the “Ethernet” entry
from the list.
4.
Click the “Advanced...” button. The “TCP/IP” settings
page opens. Select the “Using DHCP” option from the
“Configure IPv4:” drop-down list.
5.
Click “OK”.
Now the computer receives an IP address from the wireless
access point.
