Explicit Call Transfer (ECT)

To clear your connection while allowing the external 
parties to continue the call, connect the parties with 
each other.

Dial the sequence shown at left. The connection on 
hold and the active connection are connected with 
each other. The external parties continue the call 
while you clear the connection.

Pick up the handset.

Dial the external number of the first party. Talk.

Press the Hold button.

Dial the number for your second external call. You 
can now conduct a second conversation while your 
first call is on hold.

Dial the sequence shown at left to begin a three-par-
ty conference call.

Now all three participants can confer together. If ei-
ther of the other two parties hangs up, your connec-
tion with the remaining participant remains active.

To clear your connections while allowing the external 
parties to continue the call, connect the parties with 
each other.

You can also switch from the three-party call back to 
the original two-party connection. Dial the sequence 
shown at left. This ends the three-party conference. 
The connection that was active last before you initi-
ated the three-party conference is now active again. 
The second external call is on hold. You can alternate 
between the two connections by dialing the same 
sequence again.
