Do not switch on devices that have been exposed to low
temperatures.
•
Allow unit to warm up until it has reached the permitted
ambient temperature in order to eliminate condensation
that might lead to damage.
•
It is recommended to position the computer in such a
way that its monitor is facing away from direct light in or-
der to prevent glare. It might be sufficient to rotate the
monitor slightly away from the light to obtain better con-
trast.
•
Install the unit in a position where it can be easily and
safely operated. The measuring cell should be fully ac-
cessible when the measuring unit is opened.
•
It is forbidden to install the unit at a location that is ex-
posed to flooding. Do not install the unit at a location
where water might collect on the floor after damage to
pipes, etc. If there is not suitable alternative location
available, position the device on blocks.
•
Prior to commissioning, remove transport inserts (1)
placed inside the device.
3.4 Electrical
connection
Prior to connecting the unit to the power supply, refer to the
type plate to ensure that the unit is rate for the mains volt-
age and current.

Caution: The power supply line to the measuring unit
must be secured with a fault current protection switch.
The measuring unit, computer and printer are connected
with separate power cables to the supplied multiple socket.
