INSTALLATION

ATTENTION: This length has been designed according to the

specifications of the air conditioner. Do not use an extension or

exchange of a different hose as that may lead to a malfunction.

Energy tip!

The length of the air exhaust duct can expand up to 5ft; but

the shorter the exhaust duct is kept, the more efficiently the unit will work.

Window Kit Installation

The window kit is designed to fit most standard vertical and horizontal windows. However, it may be necessary to
modify some aspects of the installation procedures for certain types of windows. Please refer to the illustrations.

To prepare your window for installation, take the thin strips of self-stick foam and peel off the adhesive liner
on one side only. apply them around the window sill where the window slider will be placed. next, peel off the
remaining adhesive liner and apply the thick foam to this.

Fit the window slider adapter securely within the window, sliding it open until it completely fills the width of the
window. (OPTIOnal: you may also use the included screw to secure the slider to the window.) close the window
firmly. attach the window exhaust adapter to the end of the exhaust hose then snap it into the slider.

Placement

Place the unit in a flat, dry place. leave
at least 1 ½ ft. of space around the unit
(when the hose is not connected).

AIR Exhaust Duct mounting method

1) attach the square end of the exhaust duct to the exhaust
terminal of the unit.
2) attach the other end (outflow) to the nearest window.
leave at least 1 ½ ft. of space around the unit.
