TROUBLE SHOOTING

ATTENTION: Before contacting Customer Service, please refer to the 
following guide.  

WARNING: Immediately turn off the ArcticPro, 

pull out the plug and contact Customer Service 

if any of the following occurs:

Your electrical box switch often trips. 

• 

The power cord is overheated or the wires within the 

• 

cord have been exposed.

There is an unusual odor or smoke coming from the unit.

The unit does not 
operate at all

Issue 

Try

Make sure it is plugged in and the plug is secure.

• 

Check your fuse box for a tripped breaker.

• 

Drain any excess water from the basin.

• 

Cancel the Sleep/Timer Mode if the timer has been set. 

• 

The cooling 
performance 
is poor

Check for any blockage on the air inlet or outlet. There 

• 

should be at least 1½ ft. space around the unit.
Remove any heat sources in the room and close curtains. 

• 

Heat sources will reduce the cooling performance. 
Clean the air filters. 

• 

Lower the temperature setting on the unit. 

• 

Set the fan speed higher.

• 

Keep the exhaust tube at a minimum length.

• 

Noisy and/or 
vibrating

Make sure unit is placed on a level surface.

• 

The inner refrigerant may not be flowing. 

• 

The unit starts and 
stops frequently

Make sure the unit is plugged into an appropriate outlet.

• 

Check to be sure the exhaust duct is not bent incorrectly.

• 

Has the exhaust duct been altered? If so, this could 

• 

cause the unit to work improperly.
