4.2. Standard CMOS Setup
Standard CMOS Setup is the same for all three chipsets. Selecting
“STANDARD CMOS SETUP “on the main program screen displays
the following menu:

The Standard CMOS Setup utility is similar for all three chipsets and
is used to configure the following features:
Date:
Month, Day, Year
Time:
Hour, Minute, and Second. Use 24 Hour clock format (for PM
numbers, add 12 to the hour, you would enter 4:30 p.m. As 16:30).
IDE Devices:
Your computer has two IDE channels (Primary and
Secondary) and each channel can be installed with one or two de-
vices (Master and Slave). Use these items to configure each device
on the IDE channel. Press
Enter
to display the IDE sub-menu:
