Restarting the freeGuard Blaze 2100
RESETTING THE APPLIANCE
You can use one of the following methods to reset the appliance to its
default configuration:
• If you have management access to the freeGuard Blaze 2100, use the
unset all
command to reset the appliance back to factory defaults.
• If you do not have management access, perform a hardware reset,
which erases the firmware and system settings. Although the reset
deletes the system configuration file, you can access the appliance
using the default login credentials.
Performing a hardware reset to the freeGuard Blaze 2100 removes the
current firmware image along with the current configuration file. If you
have not saved a backup configuration file to the local flash or a
workstation on your network, you will have to reconfigure the <Security
Applicance.
RESETTING THE SOFTWARE
Through the administration console, use the
unset all
command to reset
the freeGuard Blaze 2100 to factory default settings. This command
erases the current configuration and returns the configuration file to
factory default. A restart is required after
unset all
.
