SOS
Settings:
To access the SOS settings from the main application menu click on Options and
SOS settings.
Add
Contact
– Click on one of the contact boxes to select a contact that will
receive your Alert message and your location when you press the alert button.
Removing
a
contact
– To remove a contact from the list click on it and then on
the list of telephone numbers select <None>
Changing
the
telephone
number
used
for
a
contact
–
If a contact has
multiple phone numbers you can select which number the message is sent to.
To do this after adding the contact, select their name in the list, click options
and select change number and then click on select number.
SMS
Text
–
Click on the options button and select set SMS Text. Here you can
change the default message that gets sent when you press the Alert button.
Find
Me
Settings:
To access the SOS settings press the options button and click on click on the
Find Me button Settings.
Adding
and
removing
a
contact
– You can add and remove contacts in the
same way as you do in the SOS settings. The contacts you add to this list will be
able to automatically get a map of your current location by sending you the
correct “look up phrase” by text.
Important
note:
Please
insure
that
the
phone
number
in
the
address
book
for
the
people
you
select
is
entered
exactly
as
displayed
if
they
were
to
call
you.
For
most
carriers
you
will
need
to
include
the
country
code
in
their
phone
number.
For
example
if
your
contacts
phone
number
is
in
the
UK
and
begins
with
08707
you
will
need
to
make
sure
that
the
number
you
have
for
them
in
your
address
book
begins
with
+448707
SMS
Text
–
Click on the options button and select Set SMS text.
Here you can
change the default text sent with your location when somebody requests your
position.
Security
Phrase
–
Here you can define the word or phrase which your contacts
need to send in order to get your location.
