Coffee grounds drawer missing

If this message appears, the coffee grounds drawer has not been correctly inserted or is missing.

Drip tray missing

If this message appears, the drip tray has not been correctly inserted.
17.7.
Filling coffee beans

Fill the beans as described under chapter 4.4.
The display FILL COFFEE BEANS goes out only after a coffee delivery.
We recommend cleaning the beans container with a dry cloth from time to time before
refilling. To do this, switch off the Unit at the ON / OFF button (23).
17.8.
Removing stones
Switch off your Unit at the ON/OFF button (23).
Disconnect your Unit from the power supply (19).
Open the hinged door at the back of the Unit(Fig.4).
Press the slide backwards (Fig.5) and remove the beans container by turning (Fig.6).
Remove any beans with a vacuum cleaner.
Mount the key (Fig.7).
Turn the key in the counter clockwise direction until the jammed stone has been released.
Empty powder residues with the vacuum cleaner.
Now mount the beans container, turn the beans container to the starting position and pull the slide
forwards before closing the door.
17.9.
Descaling the appliance

The Unit recognises the necessity of descaling. You can continue to deliver coffee or hot water/steam.
We recommend carrying out descaling (Section 19) within the next few days.
17.10.
Cleaning the contacts

Remove the drip tray (Fig.2).
The descaling residues in the region of the contacts must be removed. Proceed as follows:
Wash the contact fastenings in the channel (B) (Fig.8) and the contacts (A) with hot water and with a
detergent. Then also clean the contact fastenings in the channel (B) with a brush.
17.11.
General cleaning information
Never use abrasive objects or corrosive chemicals for cleaning.
Wipe the inside and outside of the housing with a soft, damp cloth.
Each time after use, clean the pivotable delivery tube.
After warming up milk, deliver a little hot water to clean the inside of the pivotable delivery tube too.
The water tank must be washed out daily and filled with fresh water.
If limescale is visible in the water tank, you can remove this with a commercial
descaler.
Remove the water tank for cleaning.
