15. Setting the Temperature Limiter
Warning!
If the hot-water supply temperature is more than 45 °C, set the temperature limiter.
Failure to observe can cause bodily harm due to scalding.

The temperature limiter is not a scald protector.
15.1
Remove the push-cap handle (siehe

Use a screwdriver to carefully prise off the stop ring and then use your hand to pull it
off from the teeth.
15.3
Mount the push-cap handle and trigger the fitting.
15.4
Turn the push-cap handle until the desired maximum hot-water temperature is
reached.

Push the stop ring back on the teeth so that the nose of the stop ring is positioned up
against the right-hand stop of the housing.

Important!
While fitting the push-cap handle, make sure that the driving lug locks properly into
the corresponding groove (siehe

Reassemble in the reverse order.
16. Maintenance and Servicing
Depending on the quality of the water, the local conditions and the rules and regula-
tions applicable on site, the fitting must be maintained and serviced at regular
intervals.
Perform maintenance on the following components:
• Filters (siehe
Use suitable cleaning agents that are not harmful to the fittings in a proper manner
and rinse with water after use. High-pressure cleaners must not be used for
cleaning.
Removing the Fitting
Some maintenance work requires the fitting to be removed.

Turn off the water supply.

Trigger the valve.

Loosen the grub screw.

Pull off the fitting.
