Disabling the Internal Speaker 

1.

 

Locate the internal speaker selector jumper on the PC board (see image below).

Move the jumper to the “OFF” position.

Connecting two External Speakers 

To connect 2 external speakers, plug the connectors of the external speakers into the provided 

external speaker jacks “A” and “B.” With 2 speakers connected and the internal speaker 

selector set to “ON”, the internal and both external speakers will play simultaneously. The 

internal speaker and external speaker “A” are connected to the same channel. When you turn 

off speaker “A” with the TX200, they are both turned off. By setting the internal speaker 

selector to “OFF”, you will have the ability to turn the external speakers “ON” and “OFF” as you 

wish.

External Speaker Control 

The Scorpion X1A has the ability to control the external speakers with the TX200 transmitter. 
With the remote, you are able to turn the speakers off and on. This can give you a huge 
advantage when you are playing a stereo audio file where you can turn off one of the speakers 
therefore turning off one of the channels of the audio file. 
 

Turning off External Speaker Jacks:

Enter the Speaker Control Mode by 

simultaneously pressing the AUX and 

P2 buttons on the TX200 transmitter. 

The screen will look like the image to 

the right.

The image to the right shows that 

both speaker A and B are turned on. 

To turn off A, push the P2 button. To 

turn on speaker A, push the P1 

button.

To turn off speaker B, push the P4 button. To turn on speaker B, push the P3 button. 

4.

 

To exit the external speaker control screen, push the AUX button a single time.
