Chapter III: First contact
3.1 - Getting in and out of the wheelchair
Your doctor and/or therapist will show you how to transfer depending on your way of life and
your state of health.
For ease of lateral transfer, this wheelchair is equipped with removable armrests. To remove
the armrests, refer to the chapter ‘Adjustment and adaptation of the wheelchair to the user’s
needs’ and follow the procedure ‘3.2 –Armrest spacing completely removing the armrests in
the process.
3.1.1 - Getting into the wheelchair

switch off the wheelchair

remove the armrest

position your seat as near as possible to the wheelchair for the transfer

3.1.2 - Getting out of the wheelchair

switch off the wheelchair

remove the armrest
-
position the wheelchair as near as possible to the seat you now wish to transfer into

transfer
WARNING !
If your muscle strength is insufficient, it is imperative you ask other people for
help with the transfer.

Switch « on » the circuit breaker, located below your left knee,
