– Wheels and motors
5.4.1 - Engaging and disengaging the motors
The motors of your chair can:
-
be disengaged to allow the wheelchair to be propelled in freewheel mode
-
or be engaged for electromotor mode
The levers are located on the side of the motors away from the wheel.
Engaging
: (to be repeated for each motor)
Unlock the lever by shifting sideways then downwards.
The wheels are now connected to the motors for driving.
Disengaging
: (to be repeated for each motor)
Unlock the lever by shifting sideways then upwards.
The chair can now be pushed in freewheel mode.
