STEP 16:
Start all bolts by hand and hand tighten. Torque intake manifold bolts in two steps (sequence is
shown below):
•
Step 1: Tighten to 5-10 lb. ft (6-14 Nm)
•
Step 2: Tighten to 15-18 lb*ft (31-34 Nm)
•
Note: Repeat step 2 several times until bolt torque is stabilized
•
Re-torque after 10 engine heat cycles – completely cold to full operating temperature
