Manual seek tuning
Press the
left
or
right
button to tune the
waveband backward or forward in small
increments. You can also press and hold
either button to find the desired station
quickly.
Scan tuning control
Scan tuning allows you to listen to 10
seconds of each station detected.
Press the SCAN button, “SCAN ON”
is shown in the display. Use the left ,
fast-backward key or right , fast-
forward key to scan down or up the
selected waveband. Each station is
played for 10 seconds.
Preset control
This feature allows you to store your
favourite station, so that they can be
recalled by selecting the appropriate
waveband and briefly pressing one of
the preset buttons.
Select a waveband. •
Tune to the required station. •
Press and hold one of the •
preset
buttons for more than 2 seconds.
The station will be stored into the
associated preset. Repeat on each
waveband.
FM 87.50
AutoStore control
AutoStore can be used to store the
stations with the strongest signals
available, either from the FM or AM
waveband.
Press and hold the • AST or RADIO
button for more than 2s.
‘AutoStore’ display appears while •
the unit searches through the
frequencies.
When the search is complete, •
‘AST finished’ is displayed and the
strongest signals are stored into the
AutoStore presets.
Note: The AutoStore waveband can
also be used to store stations manually in
the same way as other wavebands.
Regional mode control
Regional mode controls the behaviour
of the AF switching between the
regionally related networks of a parent
broadcaster.
Press the •
MENU
button briefly.
Use the • up or down button until
‘regional’ is displayed.
Use the •
left
or
right
button to turn
the function on or off.
