CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Attention! Before performing any work on the equipment, pull
the power plug.
15.1
Cleaning
Keep the ventilation slots of the machine clean to prevent overheating of the
engine.
Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft cloth, preferably after each
use.
Keep the ventilation slots free from dust and dirt.
If the dirt does not come off use a soft cloth moistened with soapy water.
Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water, etc.
These solvents may damage the plastic parts.
15.2
Lubrication
The tool is permanently lubricated and does not require oiling. Only used carbon
brushes need occasional replacement by new brushes
15.3
Replacing carbon brushes
For safety reasons, the machine automatically switches off if the carbon brushes
are so worn out that they no longer have contact with the motor. In that case, the
carbon brushes must be replaced by a pair similar carbon brush available through
the after-sales service organization or qualified professional person.
CAUTION: The brushes must always be replaced in pairs.
CAUTION: Always disconnect the machine from the power supply before removing
any electrical covers.
